Venue & Local Information
The conference will take place in the Hameetman Auditorium of the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics on the Caltech campus in Pasadena. Please note that food and drink are not allowed in the auditorium.
The conference hotel is the Pasadena Hilton. Please follow this link to book your accomodations.
Getting to the Cahill Center
The Pasadena Hilton is 1.4 miles from the Cahill Center and will take 30 minutes if you walk. The Hilton has a shuttle service which will take 6 passengers at a time and we suggest reserving it the night before. If you are driving, there is parking available in the California Ave Parking Structure on campus. The parking structure is entered by the road immediately East of the Cahill building and is underneath the athletic field. The daily rate for parking is $9 with the pay station for the parking lot just south of the entrance to the structure.
Here is a map of the Caltech Campus (click for an interactive campus map) to help orient you during your visit. The map is annotated with the location of the Cahill Center for Astronomy and Astrophysics (site of our meeting), the Spitzer Science center (next door) and the Athenaeum (site of the conference dinner), along with some local spots for lunch or coffee. All are within easy walking distance of the meeting.
