Huntington Library & Gardens

Located 10 minutes from Caltech, the Huntington features an extensive collection of historic science documents as well as the Orbit Pavillion (installation that uses sonification to represent orbiting satellites).

Featuring the exhibition Dreaming the Universe: The Intersection of Science Fiction & Southern California, exploring the history of science fiction in Southern California from 1930 to 1980, and how it interacted with the advances of science, the changes in technology, and shifts in American society.
