Travel to Las Vegas
The majority of attendees are expected to arrive to Las Vegas at McCarron Airport, which is very well connected both within North America and to Europe. Hotels on the Las Vegas Strip are located just a short 15 min trip away on a taxi, which can be found at stands outside both terminals. The cab fares are expected to range between $12 and $24 depending on the time of day and part of the strip. In addition, Uber and Lyft operate in the city and will be cheaper than a regular cab.
In principle, cheap public transportation is also available in the form of a WAX bus departing from both terminals 1 and 3, however there is only one bus departing from the airport every hour, so plan accordingly.
People who live in relative proximity to the conference and who wish to have their car with them can consider driving, with the expected driving time from Pasadena being about 4-5 hours. There are plenty of parking options on the Las Vegas strip, with several free parking lots (e.g., by the Miracle Mile) and many hotels offering free parking with validation or as part of your stay.
