Blocks of rooms at two international hotels have been reserved for conference participants. The number of rooms is strictly limited, however, so please reserve early.
Other hotels, some more economical, are also available in the Kyoto area (see below for more information). Late May is high season for visiting Kyoto, and hotels may sell out quickly, so please plan ahead!

All rooms are twin rooms, and the accommodation fee becomes approximately 60% per person if two persons share a room. Breakfast is included.

Biwako Hotel (four-star)
reserved 15 rooms (May 23-26, 4 nights), 19,590yen(~$170)/night (8% tax included)
reserved 5 rooms (May 23-26, 4 nights), 27,150yen(~$230)/night (8% tax included)
This hotel is situated on Lake Biwako, and has a natural hot spring.
It takes about 30-40 minutes to get from this hotel to the venue (access map):
Hotel => (5 minutes walk; map) => Hama-Otsu Station
(Keishin Line, purchase a ticket at a vending machine; 380yen)
(19 minutes by train, 7th station)
=> Keage Station
(return ticket can be purchased at a vending machine)
(4 minutes walk to the venue; map)
