Conference Venue

We have reserved a US government rate sleeping room block at the conference venue, the Hilton Santa Barbara Beachfront Resort.  The deadline to make your reservation is February 16, 2023 (extended from the original deadline of February 16). Please note that the hotel appears to already be sold out on March 31st, so if your reservation attempts to include that Friday night it will likely come back with an error.  

Reservation Link to obtain special rate.  The government rate is $214++ and includes complimentary WIFI in the guest rooms (up to 2 devices).  Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out time is 12 pm. 

Parking is available at the Hilton for $15 per day, for both overnight and day use guests, although we do not have in/out privileges. For attendees staying at the hotel, you will use your room key to leave the hotel parking.  For day use attendees, we will have validated "chaser tickets" at the registration desk for you to use when leaving the hotel parking.  You will need a chaser ticket for each day.  

Getting to Santa Barbara

For those who are flying into Los Angeles International airport (LAX) there are a couple of ways to get up to Santa Barbara.

• Option 1: Take the Santa Barbara Airbus Shuttle from LAX to Santa Barbara.  The shuttle makes 16 trips daily and you can make a reservation on this website.   The shuttle stop in Santa Barbara is at 3845 State St., 5.3 miles from the Hilton.  From there you can Uber/Lyft/taxi to the hotel.  
• Option 2: Take the LAX Flyaway Bus to Union Station in Los Angeles and then take an Amtrak train from Union Station to Santa Barbara.  The train station in Santa Barbara is at 209 State St., 1.1 miles from the Hilton.  The Hilton has a shuttle bus that can pick you up/drop you off at the train station.  Reserve a spot on the shuttle here.
• Note that the hotel shuttle will also pick you up/drop you off at the Santa Barbara airport.  Use this same link to reserve a spot.
